At SYFY, I led the creative direction for daily social content—building fast, flexible visual systems that could adapt across shows, genres, and cultural moments without losing the network’s voice. The work balanced speed with craft, ensuring every post felt intentional, scroll-stopping, and unmistakably SYFY.

The Inspiration

Don't talk at your audience - talk with them

Our inspiration was the fans. The self proclaimed: nerds, dorks and overall weirdos. We spoke to the fans because we were the fans. Our community knowledge of the world of fantasy and science fiction.

Resident Alien

The McCain U Sales Portal was built as a working tool, not a content dump. We redesigned the experience around how sales teams actually operate—on the go, mid-conversation, and often under time pressure.

Chucky

For Chucky, the challenge was honoring an iconic horror franchise while keeping the social presence sharp, contemporary, and aggressive enough to compete in-feed.

We treated Chucky like a political villain, a pop culture menace, and a self-aware brand—all at once. Bold typography, high-contrast color, and confrontational compositions made every post feel like a threat… in a fun way.

The best stories are the ones that feel true, even when they’re impossible.

Day of the Dead

For Day of the Dead, the goal was to modernize classic zombie imagery while keeping it bold and graphic for social.

We built visuals that felt gritty but stylized—balancing horror iconography with clean layouts that read instantly on mobile. The system supported episodic storytelling while leaving room for tonal shifts between action, fear, and dark humor.
